Xario is an antagonist in the Death Trapper Chronicles and is one of the two main antagonists in the volume "The Isolated Islands". He was previously Josh's cousin, Steven, who was murdered by RevJosh. When Steven tried to come back to life, he was accidentally reincarnated as Xario instead, whose personality was heavily warped. His ambition is to murder everyone as he believes that life is pointless, and he seeks out the Geminon Star in the Isolated Caverns to aid in his plans.
In Schm2000's YouTube series, Xario is the main antagonist of Fall of YouTube and the true leader of the Death Trappers. He is also a contestant in Peace or Torture.

Xario was originally the main antagonist of MarioSuperSoda's series The Crystal Star. Xario's actions in the movie were adapted into the Death Trapper Chronicles and are canon to the YouTube Trilogy.

Xario is a being who has Mario's body type and clothing. He wears a light blue cap and yellow overalls, with his flesh being shadowy and sparking purple and black energy. His eyes are completely white, with no pupils or irises. To Mario, he looks like his previous incarnation, Steven.

Instead of having all white eyes, Xario has blue eyes that match with the other characters.
Abilities[]
As the true leader of the Death Trappers, Xario has command over all of its members. Like other combatants, Xario has the abilities of teleportation and flight. Many of his spirits grant him numerous abilities, such as the ability to disguise himself, the ability to freeze other individuals, the ability to summon balls of fire, and a resistance ability to damage. He also has the ability to create lightning, instill fear into his enemies, mind control one person at a time and create a gigantic red laser called the Omega Laser. Though, it is unknown if these latter abilities were granted to him by his spirits or not. Xario is extremely proficient in combat and usually beats his enemies without issue, though it is possible to stall him. Whenever one of his spirits dies, he ends up becoming unable to move and experiences agony when losing that spirit's power. He lost all of his powers when brought into Peace or Torture as a contestant and was weak enough to where a lone Bully could keep him trapped in a corner.

Fall of YouTube[]
In between the events of War of YouTube and Rise of YouTube, FireMario54321 reincarnated into Xario after being murdered by iJosh63. Xario discovered that he had been forgotten about and decided that there was no meaning in life, so its only purpose was to be destroyed.
Xario first physically appeared in Episode 1 when Fares242 revealed he was the true leader of the Death Trappers and that he had taken over the Power Star Dimension as his own. In Episode 2, Xario followed Schm's group to Flower Patch Garden while disguised as LuigiLuigi573, where he knocked Musthasto away. He pretended to reveal his true identity in Episode 3 with a flash of light, but instead froze Schm's group. Before he could secure the access key to the Power Star Dimension, he was frozen by Fares, who helped Schm's group escape. Meanwhile, he had set up a trap at Planet Stardust's hub that allowed him to mind-control Matt. He and Matt then fought and seemingly killed MarioSuperSoda in Episode 4. Around that same time, Xario's disguise spirit was destroyed, exposing Xario's true identity. He then commanded Matt to hunt down anyone who would try to destroy Xario's spirits.
He and Yuigi visited and destroyed the Death Dimension in Episode 5. In Episode 6, he and the other Death Trappers tested EmigasFist to see if he was worthy of rejoining the Death Trappers or not. The group decided he was worthy, but soon after Xario and Yuigi's ice spirit was destroyed. Xario then gave commands to the Death Trappers and went with Yuigi to the Power Star Dimension to destroy the people hunting down his spirits. He met Fares and his group at the Power Star Dimension's hub, where he revealed that he was originally FireMario54321 in his prior life. He then mind-controlled Simontheotaku and destroyed both LuigiLuigi573 and Musthasto with his Omega Laser, although this backfired and ended up destroying his fire and resistance spirits in the process. MarioSuperSoda grabbed him in order to let Fares' group escape, and after he learned that MSS was EmigasFist's true identity, he sent Clawdeender and Simon to deal with MSS and followed part of Fares' group into the M Hotel.
Peace or Torture[]
Xario appeared as a contestant in the reboot's pilot episode, where he was taken from another timeline and lost all of his powers. He won against Cut Man X in the first round, trivia, but ended up losing the second round, a race in Hell, when a Bully cornered him and glitched him into the lava.
Trivia[]
- Xario's theme song in the YouTube series is a slowed down version of Bloody Tears from Super Castlevania IV.
- Xario is seen in the final intro for "Rise of YouTube" but doesn't make an appearance. This is due to a change in Episode 11's script ending the series short. Otherwise, he would have taken over as the main antagonist.
- Xario's Color Code is based on an inverted Mario, with black gloves, shoes, face, and hair.
- Xario was supposed to finish his race in the Pilot Episode of "Peace or Torture! Season 1", but due to the creator not expecting a Bully to completely trap Xario in a corner, he left the footage as it was. Xario was planned to place in dead last regardless.
